Cinderella Inspired Nail Design! ...of course..

So I was at the store this weekend and as I was browsing around the racks of nail polish as I normally do
(an obsession that I must stop, aaahh) I saw this light blue color that had a hint of sparkle.
I thought it was so pretty.

Patience, my friend. Patience.

Hey, everyone!

Nothing too special in today's post.  I've been working on this watercolor of Cinderella's castle for awhile.  I had to toss a first 'draft' because it was.. icky.  With painting, I haven't had the knack for getting the whole detailing thing down.  That'll take time, I think.  Oh, and patience.  haha, yeah, patience.  Usually when I want to try to paint, the only thing I can think of to paint it Cinderella's Castle.  Why is that?  Because I am a crazy Disney World fanatic.  Yeah, sorry.

As I try to hone my watercolor skills, please do lend me some tips down below in the comments.  As far as creating something, all you need to do is have the passion and enjoy it.  There is no pleasing everybody.  Do what you enjoy and everything should fall into place.
I hope everyone has been well!  I just wanted to say that I have finally reached 10 followers via Google Friend Connect (in the right bar)!  Thank you so much!

Almost the first week of December... Hopefully good things in store..  (and no, I do not mean the cold weather.  Yuck.  Hm, maybe I should illustrate a palm tree next..)

Later gator!

Another Cinderella [Castle] Story

Yep. Another artwork with some representation of that gorgeous castle sitting at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.  Or it feels like I have a lot.  This acrylic painting was actually a gift I made a friend of mine for her birthday last week.  The main thing that is different than my other castles, is the position.

Less detail, only a piece of it and I hope when you see it, you know what castle I am referring to in the painting.  I don't know why, but when I am ever in doubt of what to paint/draw.. I tend to go with the castle, but I am always looking for other ways to do this.  Not just the normal full view.

Let me know what you think.  I made it easier for you to share your thoughts.  Down below (before the comments), there are a few 'reactions' you can choose from.  Please check one.  It'll help me in the long run. :]

Thanks for reading!

Project #6: Pink Cinderella's Castle

Hey guys! ( :  Hope everyone is doing great.

From project numero two, I mentioned making a set of drawings similar, yet each one different.  The next one in the set is a one color interpretation.

On bristol board, use a pink Pigma Micron 01 sketching pen.

Which style do you prefer better?  Feedback is appreciated.  Just leave me a comment, or tweet me @cindydesigns.

Again, thank you to those of you who has followed me on this blog!! I appreciate it. :] If anyone has an art, or some type of creative blog let me know.  I'd love to check it out.  Actually, any type of blog I would check out.  Seriously. :)

Project #2, Cinderella's Castle.

Or rather an interpretation of it using a black and a blue sketching pen on bristol board.

hand drawn first, then used sketching pens to add detail. Click to enlarge.

I am planning on making a set of drawings like this one, except each one slightly different.  Cinderella and Disney are two things which those close to me will say I am a fan of.  A lot.

This is more of a fantasy drawing of the castle.  In the original picture I took (in Disney World!) there was a lot of heads of people blocking the stage part.  So, I added cloud like shapes to add a bit of a fantasy flair to it.

What other ways would you make this your own?
Try it!
